First blog post .... and 2 broken fingers (from Oct 19)
I thought it was about time I started blogging as, apart, from anything else, I thought it would be nice to be able to look back over time and remind myself how I started!
First of all, a big thank you to those who have been so patient whilst I have been slightly out of action due to my 2 broken fingers. These were from a dog walking injury but I won't name and shame! Suffice to say I now loathe extendable leads with a vengeance. Southmead Hospital have been amazing - got operated on quickly (2 pins, 1 wire in ring finger and 2 K wires in pinky finger) and I am doing lots of Physiotherapy. Anyhow, on to happier and less painful things. I am absolutely LOVING (sorry to shout!) my chosen job and thank my lucky stars each day when I take your lovely dogs out. Yes, even in the rain (which there has been a lot of!). These guys really make me smile; each one has their own personality and the more I am getting to know them the more it is shining through. My own dog Whiz is having a blast too as he has lots of play mates and friends to run with,
I have lots of plans for my little business. Obviously the first thing is to get my finger sorted so I can drive again but after that I fully intend to take my group walk dogs out to lots of new locations. I will be getting a van in the Spring but in the meantime will be using my car which they will all be very safe in. More on that to follow. Signing off for now but thanks for reading. I will do another blog post very soon.
Bye for now!
